Info pictureI’ve been hooked on car design since the age of thirteen when I first saw conceptual renderings of the soon-to-be introduced Volkswagen New Beetle. I loved the idea of using art and creativity to make something real… to give personality and soul to a vehicle.

After high school I discovered that Toronto’s Humber College was about to launch a brand new 4-year industrial design degree program, featuring a specialization in vehicle design (the first course of its kind in Canada). I graduated in 2007 at the top of my class.

In my final year at Humber, my car design project “Concourse” was selected as an entry for the 2007 World Automotive Design Competition. I won 3rd prize out of 46 entries from 18 of the world’s top car design schools.

My win brought me to the attention of Canadian automotive supplier Magna International, who hired me as the in-house designer for their newly formed e-vehicle division, BionX. BionX specializes in the design and engineering of e-bike kits and many other forms of environmentally-friendly urban transportation.
